Scheduling Options#

AlgoMuse offers multiple ways to schedule your content:

Manual Scheduling

Pick exact date and time for each post. Full control over when your content goes live.

Queue System

Add posts to a queue and let them publish according to your preset schedule slots.

Smart Scheduling

AI analyzes your audience activity and automatically picks the best times to post.

Recurring Posts

Schedule evergreen content to automatically repost on a regular basis.

Manual Scheduling#

1

Create Your Post

Start by creating your post content using the composer. You can write manually or use AI generation.

2

Select Platforms

Choose which connected accounts should receive this post. You can select multiple platforms and customize content for each.

3

Choose Date and Time

Click "Schedule" and select your preferred date and time. The calendar shows:

  • Your existing scheduled posts (to avoid conflicts)
  • Suggested optimal times based on your analytics
  • Time zone indicator (defaults to your account settings)
4

Review and Confirm

Preview how your post will appear on each platform, then click "Schedule Post" to confirm.

Pro Tip

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to quickly schedule a post at the suggested optimal time.

Setting Up Your Queue#

The queue system lets you define time slots throughout the week, and posts in your queue will automatically fill these slots.

Configure Queue Schedule

1

Go to Queue Settings

Navigate to Settings → Publishing → Queue Schedule.

2

Set Time Slots

For each day of the week, add the times you want to publish. For example:

Monday - Friday9:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 5:00 PM
Saturday10:00 AM, 2:00 PM
Sunday11:00 AM
3

Configure Per Platform

You can set different schedules for different platforms. Your LinkedIn audience might be most active during business hours, while your Twitter audience might engage more in the evenings.

Adding Posts to Queue

When creating or editing a post, choose "Add to Queue" instead of scheduling a specific time. The post will automatically publish at the next available queue slot.

Info

Posts in your queue are published in the order they were added (FIFO - First In, First Out). You can reorder them by dragging and dropping in the Queue view.

Smart Scheduling#

Smart Scheduling uses AI to analyze your historical data and determine the best times to post for maximum engagement.

How It Works

1

Data Collection

We analyze when your followers are most active and when your past posts received the most engagement.

2

Pattern Recognition

AI identifies patterns in your best-performing posts including day of week, time of day, and content type.

3

Optimization

For each post, we suggest the optimal time slot, or you can let us auto-schedule for maximum reach.

Enabling Smart Scheduling

To use Smart Scheduling:

  1. Go to Settings → Publishing → Smart Scheduling
  2. Enable "Use AI-optimized posting times"
  3. Choose your preferences:
    • Suggest optimal times (you confirm)
    • Auto-schedule (fully automated)
  4. Set constraints (e.g., "only post between 8 AM and 10 PM")

Best Results

Smart Scheduling becomes more accurate over time. Allow at least 2 weeks of posting data for the AI to learn your audience's patterns.

Recurring Posts#

For evergreen content that stays relevant, set up recurring posts to automatically republish on a schedule.

Use Cases for Recurring Posts

  • Weekly tips or motivation posts
  • Monthly product highlights
  • Seasonal promotions
  • Evergreen educational content
  • Regular engagement prompts

Setting Up Recurring Posts

1

Create the Post

Create your post as usual. Make sure the content is evergreen and will remain relevant over time.

2

Enable Recurring

When scheduling, toggle on "Make this recurring" to reveal recurrence options.

3

Configure Frequency

Choose how often the post should repeat:

  • Daily - Same post every day
  • Weekly - Select which days of the week
  • Bi-weekly - Every two weeks
  • Monthly - Select which day of the month
  • Custom - Define your own interval
4

Set End Conditions

Choose when the recurring series should stop: after a specific date, after a number of occurrences, or never (until manually stopped).

Warning

Recurring posts work best with content that does not become outdated. Avoid using specific dates, time-sensitive information, or references to current events in recurring content.

Content Calendar#

The Content Calendar provides a visual overview of all your scheduled posts across platforms.

Calendar Views

Month View

See your entire month at a glance. Great for long-term planning and spotting gaps.

Week View

Detailed weekly view with hour-by-hour breakdown. Perfect for fine-tuning your schedule.

Chronological list of upcoming posts. Easiest for bulk editing and rearranging.

Calendar Actions

  • Drag and drop - Reschedule posts by dragging them to new time slots
  • Click to edit - Open the post editor by clicking on any scheduled post
  • Filter by platform - Show only posts for specific platforms
  • Filter by status - View scheduled, published, or failed posts
  • Quick add - Double-click on any time slot to create a new post

Time Zones#

AlgoMuse handles time zones automatically, but it is important to understand how they work.

Account Time Zone

Your account time zone (set in Settings → Account) is used as the default for all scheduling. All times displayed in the dashboard are in this time zone.

Audience Time Zone Optimization

If your audience is in a different time zone than you, enable "Audience Time Zone" in Smart Scheduling settings. We will analyze where your followers are located and suggest times that work best for them.

Info

Team members can set their own display time zone preferences without affecting when posts are published. The scheduled time always refers to the account's default time zone.
