Data Processing Addendum

If your organization is a data controller under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, AlgoMuse will enter into a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) that governs how we process personal data on your behalf. This page summarizes the key terms and how to execute one.
This is a plain-language summary for convenience — the executed DPA is the binding agreement and controls in the event of any conflict.
What the DPA covers
Roles
For personal data you submit to AlgoMuse, you are the data controller and AlgoMuse acts as your data processor (or subprocessor). Our DPA reflects those roles under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA.
Scope & purpose
We process personal data only to provide and support the service, and only on your documented instructions (including via your use of the product). We do not sell your data or use your private content to train foundation models.
Subprocessors
We use a limited set of subprocessors, each bound by its own data processing terms. The current list is public on our Subprocessors page, and you can ask to be told when it changes.
Security
We maintain technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS for all connections to the service, encryption of stored credentials, role-based access and audit logging, as described on our Security page.
Data-subject requests
We assist you, taking into account the nature of processing, in responding to requests from data subjects to exercise their rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection).
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Return & deletion
On termination, we return or delete personal data processed on your behalf in accordance with the DPA and applicable retention requirements.
Audit & assistance
We make available information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and support your data-protection impact assessments and regulator inquiries.
Request a signed DPA
Email us and we'll provide our DPA for signature. Include your legal entity name and the AlgoMuse account it applies to.
